WolfET Game Session 04, March 16th, 10pm EST

Postby Slayer » Sun Mar 14, 2010 4:19 am

Date: March 16th, 2010
Time: 10pm Eastern
Place: Slayer's House or join online /connect et.slayfest.com

I moved the start time from 4pm to 10pm EST. The later start time works better for me due to classes starting back up and 4pm was too early for some. Don't forget that daylight savings just kicked in again for the spring forward. You should have added an hour to your clocks starting Sunday.

We managed to get 6v6 at the last online event and more are expected for this one.

Double Jump is now disabled.

I might add 4 new maps prior to this event if its in demand. Do you think we should add 4 more maps?

I usually have a Mini-LAN for our WolfET game sessions so if you want to play online from my house or need a computer to use please let me know in advance so I can save you a seat.

Let us know If you'll be there.

I wouldn't be against adding maps, but I think we need to be sure people understand the og 6 first. Some of the custom maps can be really confusing.
This is not similation.
Get ready to destoroy the enemy.
Target for the weak points of f__kin' machine.
Do your best you have ever done.

The 4 maps I have in mind are MLB-Temple, MLB-Egypt, Caen2, and Venice. MLB-Daybreak is my backup choice. I think a sizable chunk of our player base has the original six and MLB-Temple figured out. Teaching/Learning new maps would prepare people for more later on.

Alright, I've got brand new feet for my mouse, my foot pedals are ready to rock, and last week resparked my memory of what to do (mostly). Your going down.
The Aperture Science Enrichment Facility reminds you that if at first you don’t succeed, you fail.

Thanks to everyone who played. We peaked at 9 active players. 10 unique players. 1 new Slayfest member.

5 players were MIA, told me they would attend but for some fucking reason decided against it. You know who you are and you let me down.
