For sure, Those refs might as well have been wearing penguins jersies. That is the SECOND time in this series ALONE where the Redwings were called for interfearance for being CHECKED into the goalie. This time it was called by the back ref who has no buisness calling such penalties and had a view of nothing BUT the check...
Looked like the wings were spacificly trying to avoid getting penalties called on them (2 penalties agenst wings in 1st period, 2 on penguins in the 3rd) as they were not being aggressive and spend the game being pounded into the boards repeatedly. Seems like if the penguins do anything less then wield their sticks like swords and pummel the wings in the head repeatedly with them before impailing them after the refs yell "Finish Him!" then there will be no penalty called. Of the 2 penalties that WERE called on the penguins, one was demanded by the wings bench and the other, the ref delayed calling it for afew seconds, as if debateing weather or not he could get away with clameing he hadnt seen it and thought better of it. Both were behond obvious call, but that didnt stop them from NOT calling several obvious penalties commited directly in front of them.
Not sure if one of the called ones was after a wing was checked and lost his helmet, and a 2nd penguin came up and basicly punched him in the head for no real reason... the puck was far away from them when he punched him, that might have been the one the wings bench insisted they call.
