My name is Spiderslight
I just moved into an apartment and I have no clue what I am doing right now. I Just know that I really like to play games even though I am not very good I heard of this in my HTI class at LCC and thought I would join.
Well my computer is so crappy that I am shamed to menthon it. well Thats all

aww don't feel bad about your hardware, even the oldest box has its subtle charm. what are you running?

It is a AMD Athlon running at 1.33 GHz
512 Memory
60 Gb Hard drive
a Nvidea FX 5200
and that is it, it sucks for games but i can hope

You might want to consider upgrading...
I had a fx 5500 until recently, i got annoyed that all the newer games that were coming out were unplayable on my computer, so i broke down and got a 6600 gt, good card for the money, although im sure theres better cards out now for the same price i paid.

But besides all that, welcome!

If i can get a motherboard I will have a celeron running at 2 ghz which might speed me up a little

yeah thats not bad at all because the 2.0 celerys can be overclocked fairly well. i had a 5200 for freaking ever but by the time i joined slayfest i'd upgraded to a 6600gt and now to a 6800le (which ill be selling when i get my 7600gt)
