Chicago :: Voice Server Upgrades & Migrations

Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to announce that the new network and servers are now in place for the migration of all Chicago voice servers. This migration will move your voice server off our old network and servers onto our new premium network blend and HP server hardware.

This migration will be mandatory for all voice servers located in Chicago and your IP address and hostnames will change as we are not able to move them over to the new network blend.

Starting this Thursday we will begin moving Ventrilo & Mohawk servers over to their new home. We will be leaving your old server online as well as placing a copy of it online in the new location. This will allow you and your team to migrate to the new IP/Port information when it is convenient for you.

We will be leaving the old Ventrilo and Mohawk servers online until the 29th of April, at which time we will be shutting down all services on the old servers. So please be sure to make the migration before the 29th in order to avoid any issues with not being able to get on your server.

When you server is copied over to the new hardware you will receive an email with all your new server information, including server IP and port address. Please be on the lookout for this email to be sure it is not missed. If you do not receive your migration email within the next 96 hours, please open a ticket with support immediately so we can be sure your account was moved and your information was sent.

If you have a Teamspeak 2 server, this email does not directly apply to you as the moves for Teamspeak are not able to be done in the same nature, so please stay tuned for a new update on Teamspeak servers.

the domain is the same so you dont have to do anything but wait for the dns record to update. The ttl is 1 hour so by the time you get this it should be updated.

All of our registered users, channels, and settings were transfered.

EDIT...

The ip change broke the mohawk query script Im using on the servers page. This is a hypernia.com problem. I put in a support ticket.
